Andy Dale SharePoint Awards 2011

So it is the time of year when I announce the finalists in my ‘unofficial’ SharePoint Awards. The Villa might be the only team in Birmingham ending cup-less this season, but as for any nominated SharePoint Providers who haven’t made the final 6 in their category there is always next year.

Though it pains me to say I have to congratulate Birmingham city on winning the Carling Cup against Arsenal. Hopefully though as they look to buy a second-hand trophy cabinet it will be the Blues not the mighty Aston Villa who will be fighting for their Premiership survival come May.

Gold Seals for winners
So now to excitedly announce the finalists in the Andy Dale Awards 2011 which are this year being hosted at the brand new SharePoint Village. You can vote for your favourite two finalists in each category now by visiting the Voting Section at SharePoint Village.

So that is the list of finalists in each category so now is your chance to visit http://sharepointvillage.com and start voting.

As with ‘Dancing on Ice’ the scoring system will be in two halves. First half will be a rating between 1 and 5 based on how many online votes each finalist gets. The second half will be a score between 1 and 5 from our panel, of Worldwide SharePoint Experts, for each of the finalist. This will give each one a score out of 10. In the event of a tie as they are my Awards then I will have the casting vote. Hope that all makes sense.

Good luck to all the finalists and the winners will be announced on Monday 18th April. Oh I forgot to say that the closing date for voting is 15th April 2011.

Now come on you Villa boys you really have to beat the Wolves on Saturday.
